More Elections Wikileaks Promised, DNC Voicemails Show ‘Big Money’ Corruption

Wikileaks promises to hack more emails after DNC Leaks success

On July 22, the DNC was shaken up thanks to revelations from Wikileaks that included emails and voicemail recordings showing an unfair bias against Bernie Sanders. Now, Wikileaks says that there will be more information released about elections in the future, according to a July 26 interview with Julian Assange.

“Get big money out of politics and restore democracy” is a slogan on the front page of Bernie Sanders’ website. Sadly, DNC leaks from Wikileaks included voicemail recordings between Democratic Party officials accepting big money from donors that, in turn, wanted political elbow-rubbing.

On July 27, Wikileaks posted on Twitter that “leaks show how DNC had White House reward rich donors with positions on federal boards.”

According to an ABC News report from July 27, the DNC was exposed by Wikileaks as “approving and denying access” to President Obama and other top officials.

ABC‘s Money Trail reported on the DNC leaks voicemails and said they showed individuals involved with fundraising large dollar amounts — up to $ 200,000 — and were calling the Democratic Party to look for their “rewards.”

About the DNC leaks recordings, News Max states they show that “[DNC] fundraising officials acted like gatekeepers for access to President Barack Obama and other top officials — brokering meetings to woo big-money donors.”

Julian Assange of Wikileaks announced on Tuesday, July 26, in an interview with CNN that he would in fact be releasing more information because the DNC leaks were so effective. For example, after Wikileaks’ initial dump of almost 20,000 emails on July 22, DNC Chair, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, officially resigned following the scandal, according to Politico.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Wikileaks called their first hacked batch of 20,000 emails “a series,” and this led many Bernie Sanders fans to believe that they would see more DNC leaks.

The Hill adds to this with a revelation by Wikileaks’ Julian Assange stating that more emails will be released “in the future” about “the elections.”

While Bernie Sanders responded to the DNC leaks on July 22 with a firm resolution that Debbie Wasserman-Schultz needed to resign as chair, Hillary Clinton has avoided DNC leaks questions, according to The Blaze.

Interestingly, Slate speculates on July 25 that the DNC leaks will likely not hurt Hillary Clinton in the long run.

Speaking of ‘hurting Hillary Clinton,” both Wikileaks and Bernie Sanders want to remind their fans that they are not directly trying to harm Hillary Clinton.

An opinion piece by Daily Kos implies that Julian Assange feels particularly bitter toward Hillary Clinton and stated in their headline that “Julian Assange [is] deliberately trying to hurt Hillary Clinton, threatens to do it again.”

Despite this, Wikileaks posted on July 27 on Twitter that they have a beef with New York Times and other publications that convey the incorrect message that Wikileaks wishes to “harm” Hillary Clinton.

Regardless of the fact that Debbie Wasserman-Schultz stepped down as the Chair of the DNC because the scathing Wikileaks reveal showed she was corrupt and working against Bernie Sanders — and for Hillary Clinton — Sanders takes the upper hand.

Specifically, Bernie Sanders has explicitly told his followers several times that they should not vote for Donald Trump and should support Hillary Clinton for president.

During his DNC speech on July 25, Vanity Fair reports that a large crowd of Bernie Sanders supporters had tears in their eyes as he officially quit the race for president by telling them they must support Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine.

According to NBC 10 Philadelphia, when Hillary Clinton was officially nominated to run as the presidential candidate for the Democratic Party, many Bernie Sanders delegates staged a walkout and the report concluded with the following.

“Even Sanders was booed at an event Monday, when he told supporters it was in the country’s best interest to elect Clinton president.”
